Append a 9 when you hit the redial softkey

hello folks
when you have a missed call on the cisco ip phone, if you press directory and look for missed calls you have the softkey for redial, however we need to append a 9 for the call to be completed successfully, do you know a way to configure this so the 9 will be appended automatically without editing the number?

I have cisco communications manager 6.1(2)
