Application errors!

When opening a word doc, i’ll double click and it will open. Few seconds later, it will give me error saying “WINWORD.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program.”. Then I would try it again and itwill give me the same error. This also appears when i’m trying to print. I’ve tried uninstalling Office2000 and reinstalling it. Then just recently tried to open Adobe Photoshop, gave me the same error, but instead of “WINWORD.EXE” it said “Photoshp.exe”. I am trying to keep away from re’installing W2K. But if that is the last resort then I will. I appreciate any suggestions here.
