Apps.ini in W2K and Window Pro XP

In Windows 95 and 98, I used to create an Apps.ini file to the registry which would then create a Network Install tabs under Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel. This was extremely helpful when I set up new PCs. Rather than grab a dozen software installation CDs, I would just install all from the Add/Remove programs. I cannot find this function in either W2K or Windows XP — can anyone help??? Please keep in mind that we are on a Netware server environment. Thanks in advance.
