ARC path

I recently tried booting from a mirror drive using a modified boot.ini file. The original path was multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2). There are only 2 SCSI drives on the same controller on 2 different channels. I changed it to multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(1)partition(2) and it didn’t take it. The server have had no problem until a recent glitch. The WINNT directory is in C partition and there’s a EISA partition sitting in front. From what I read in several references, I only need to change the rdisk from 0 to 1, but it didn’t work. Does anyone know what did I do wrong? Thanks.
