Arcserve 2000 and Terminal Server

We are running Arcserve 2000 and trying to backup our terminal servers. The client agents are started and running but when we go to backup it says that the client agent is not reponding. I am new at this so any help would be greatly appreciated. I have been on CA’s website for hours. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong???
