I’ve (today) had some Bailiff (a Scottish Sheriff’s Officer) try to serve me with a warrant for my arrest, based on…
..now this is where it gets tricky – only those Peers [and YOU Sonja!][Sorry – and Tammy..] will understand this joke..
…some bloke, some WELSH bloke that used to live in my area 20 years ago, ran up a freaking (good word!) lot of debt – and his name is/was Brin Draic !!
I tried to point out that 20 years ago I was somewhere else 5 miles ^^UP^^, some of which I wasn’t at liberty to actually tell him, but he insisted it was me. I had to go find my Birth Certificate to prove it wasn’t me, then he says “Well, you can get one of them on the internet.”
So I then showed him my Driving Licence – “You can get one of them with your Birth Certificate, they never check!”
So I showed him my PPL – “Oh well, they don’t check on that either.”
So I showed him my old Warrant Card from the RAF.
I’ll get back to you if he ever comes back.
Is this just a singular event or does it happen across the world?? Whatever it is, it generally pisses me off!
