ASA 5505 Web Interface Password Reset

I’ve been through the methods of resetting the 5505 and I have managed to reset to factory defaults using this (https://www.techrepublic.com.com/5208-6230-0.html?forumID=101&threadID=241960&messageID=2372612). I know it is reset because I had put a new management IP in and it is now back to 192.168.1.1.

BUT, when I then surf to 192.168.1.1 and it asks for user/password (which should be blank if really back to factory defaults) it appears the user/password is still not reset.

Does the web interface not reset the password when you follow the reset procedure using the console??

Any help is appreciated.
