ASUS 12x DVD only plays some movies

Plays the movie THE MATRIX fine but will not play GONE IN 60 SECONDS or any “newer” DVD’s. I have tried different DVD software players and updated drivers for video. DMA is enabled. I have played GONE IN 60 SEC. in my Pioneer DVD plyer and has noproblems. ASUS TECH Support has only made 1 suggestion…”make sure DMA is enabled”. Please help! Thanks!
