Asus monitor with webcam

Bought Asus moinitor with webcam. Everything worked fine until I rebooted, no desktop; blank screen. If I unplug the DVI and the usb 2 from the back of the monitor, I can see my desktop. What is the problem? I have Windows 7 Home Edition with all its updates.
