AT scheduler help!

by rteo30 . Updated 23 years ago

PIII 1.2 GHZ 512 MB RAM 15 Gig HD free and running on NT 4 memeber server with sp6a.

My mission is to start the MS Access 2002 from the AT scheduler at 1:00 AM to export the Access database tables to a DB2. The database sit at the local disk ( r ) partition.

Tested to run in the command line with as “r:\data\start export.mdb”. This will bring up the Access database and start to export the tables to DB2. Works 🙂 When this is completed, the MS Access will be closed.

I wrote a simple batch file “dbstart.bat” to execute this task as below:
r:
cd \data\start export.mdb

Now, this batch file is setup to run at WinAT scheduler as test. At the WinAT command line, I type in as “r:\data\dbstart.bat”. This doesn’t work! So I tried a different command as “cmd /c r:\data\dbstart.bat”. Failed again.

Anyone who can give me any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.
