Athlon 1300 MHz CPU temperature

Can anyone help me. I have just installed an Athlone 1300Mhz chip in my GA7-ZM motherboard. It seems to be running at 54C. AMD state the chip is good up to 95C in their technical documentation.

What temperature should it be at to not cause any problems?

Also should i install extra case fans as amd suggest. I have only one on the power supply
