Auditing: File Server

Our company Date is stored in NetApps (Network Appliance) a UNIX based platform. We have over 6 million folders. The biggest challenge for the IT is to know who has access to what files and folders.

Is there any auditing software we can use which can automatically create a database which is easy to read ? I have used Tree Size professional in the past but Tree Size is very complex and doesn’t give enough information.

Any thoughts?
