Authentication of a dive across domains

We have two Windows NT 4.0 server domains in our shop with a two-way trust. DomainB has the F drive shared as F$ for local users to access the entire drive. This drive has permissions set so that “Authenticated Users” have access to it. In DomainA (using win2000 and 98se)I am able to map to a shared folder in DomainB f drive but not the shared drive letter (F$). Windows will prompt me for a user name and password but will not authenticate me even with the admin login.
