Backing up Exchange5.5

I would like to make sure my Exchange server gets backed up. I am using Backup Exec7 and I dont have the Exchange plug in, right now it don’t seem that any Exchange data is being backed up. Is there a batch file I could run before the backup to shutdown the services so it backs up all my Exchange data, and if so does anyone have a copy of one….any help would be great!!
