Backing up the Registry.

Can anyone tell me the proper procedure in backing up the registry in a WinNT 4.0 Server. Im currently using Arcserve 6.0 and im getting an error when choosing the registry tab. I called tech support and there telling me that as long as i backup thec:\winnt\system32 folder the registry is backed up. Is this True???
