Backup Exch. Srv 5.5+NT4 from W2k Server

I have a Exchange Server 5.5+SP4 installed in a NT4 Server+SP6.0a. Copying the archive “Edbbcli.dll” to “C:\WINNT\system32″ folder on another server, with W2K Server+SP2.0, I can effect the backup normally, without needing to stop the jobs of the Exchange.
