Backup Exec 10.d SP3 crashes server being backed up.

In a Windows Server 2003 environment, SP1, my server being backed up crashes at the start of it’s second backup of the night. The first backup completes 100%, including the verify. the backup uses AOFO, letting the backup software choose the snapshot technology to use. The backup fails during the snapshot, and there are NO events in any of the event logs during or before the crash.
