I am researching why 11d job rate is soo slow. Its been going on since around 11/30/2007. I have a Windows 2003 server enterprise edition , 12gb ram, 6hd (raid 5) also a storage attached 6hd( also raid 5) and a powervault 132t connected to the server, all backing up locally. I have talked with Symantec, tried defrag, tried running all updates, change high water count, tweaking it, talked with dell (we have a dell server poweredge 2650) and talked with dell, all firmware updates, all drivers updates are on, and still it use to run 1300ishmb job rate now it dropped from 1100ishmb dropping to 500ishmb job rate. we have tried everything, switching cables, replacing Powervault, still nothing, is it an update that made this mess?! is it something running in the background, we checked TUR but we disabled it, we checked all programs running but they are using nothing compared to backup exec, it is also a domain controller. PLEASE HELP
