Backup Exec 11d restores exchange mailboxes but they are empty!

Running Symantic backup exec 11d with Exchange agent on a W2k3 Server.
The backup runs OK.
When i try to restore a single folder under a mailbox, the folder restores, but there’s no content in it. It’s totally empty.
Anyone else seen this, or have a fix?
BTW, if I redirect the restore to another mailbox, the files in the folders appear, but the files themselves are emptu..ie, totally blank.
