Backup Exec: cannot delete/edit job

Previously scheduled job doesn’t run, although it’s time was up a week ago. Trying to re-schedule the job, BE gives an error when trying to save the job:
“Error: 0x102A – Cannot edit Backup job”.
If I try to delete the job, no errors show up but the job won’t go away from the list.
Veritas did not return any successful searches in their KB.
