Backup exec HP Netserver error

I have a Novell 4.11 SP7 HP Netserver LH3 that has been radomly been having backup tape job problems. I have purchased all new bakup tapes and received the following error this morning when I cam in.

Error on HP c1537A (DDS 12/24GB drive)
A hardware error has been detected during this operation. SCSI bus timeouts are generally an indication of exceeding the maximum cable length, incorrect termination, no power or a faulty device.

Can I see a hardware log on the server or the console log… Run two Lans 5.0 and 4.11 recently took over 4.11 server…so mostly use to 5.0 server commands.

A vendor replaced this drive back in Sept 0f 2001.
