Backup practice for employee data

Hi all,

We have a process where when each user logs in, it runs a batch file (xcopy) that copies files from a folder on their computer to a folder on the network.

However, I’ve been getting tons of permissions errors, even though they have full rights to their network folder, as well as the folder on their computer. I’m ready to give up.

Does anyone have a process they use to backup employee data on a local network w/o employee intervention?
