Backup takes too long

Hi there,
I’ve a client that runs Windows SBS 03, they use SBS backup to backup their server. Occasionally the backup will still be running the next morning. It is still backing up the First Storage Group which normally takes about 2 hours, this is now extended to over 10. Every time it happens it is backing up the First storage Group. Has anyone seen this before and do thay have a solution?
