Hi every body,,
Please help me to solve my problem..
My problem is I have recently taken 1mbps Broadband internet connection from vsnl.net(tata broadband)…
And i hav to share that 1mbps connection to 10 users with some limits of speed ad download limit..
I have these Hardware utilities with me..
1.one DSL Router
2.one 8Port switch
Main line is connected to the dsl router and passed the line to the switch.
from that switch we are using net acess..
Please tell me some tools or software that can control bvandwidth with rules..
Already i heard about the softperfect bandwidth manager-2.8..
But i am unable to configure it well… if any body can explain me how to configure and install that..
My network settings are as follows:
Ip address : 192.168.1.2(earch nuber for earch
user with diferent ip
addresses like 2,3,4.
so on..)
Subnet mask : 255.255.255.0
Default gateway : 192.168.1.1
Dns server primary : 202.54.12.164
Dns server secondary: 202.54.29.5
