Best advice for entry level IT graduates beginning employment?

Like me, I’m sure there are plenty of recent IT graduates who are seeking, beginning, or are in full swing of a new career opportunity. I am among one of those handful of individuals about to begin my first job and am wondering what tips and advice as well as dos and don’t s you all have to offer. I’m sure many others like me would find hearing a few words from seasoned professionals of worthy value.
