Best DSL connection on LAN

I’m designing a LAN using windows ME, and would like to share 1 DSL connection. I’m not sure if I should use 1 NIC in the main pc to connect to the network and connect the DSL on the uplink port of the hub, or leave the DSL connected to the existingNIC and install a second NIC in the main pc to connect to the network. Can you please give me some advice or where I can find more information on this subject?
