Best places, for a graphic designer, to advertise for the world to see?

I am a Freelance graphic designer, and im looking for the best places to advertise my skill.. I dont design because its just an ‘easy’ job, i love what i do, and its really not that easy if you love it because your always trying somthing better and greater than the last design.. my only problem is, i cant find steady clients.. am i marketing myself wrong, what sites are the best to advertise this?
