Best video card

I have an ATI 64 DDR and nothing but trouble. All new drivers and all advice given here and from ATI to no avail. Am in market to puchase (ASAP) another card – which is the best for full=screen viewing of DVDs, etc. Hoping ATI is not the only oneout there with this attribute
