bigbluebutton

hello an associate and I are trying to get the bigbluebutton going on a server we setup running Mandriva Linux the first install failed do to some mismatched configs settings because the instructions was for fedora, now we tried to install from the vm and everything worked fine until we tried access from outside the network. typing in the URL went fine however when we try to join a meeting we got an error and the session was closed. We have looked everywhere for a solution has anyone setup the bigbluebutton??
