Binding settings

In the building that I work there are different spec NT boxes, on one particular spec platform when accessing the network properties it says that the binding info has changed and asks if you want to save the binding information. On all of the other specs however the binding info is saved automatically. The question is how do you turn the option of automatic saving on and off.
