BIOS Defaults Reset on HP Pavilion 6660

The BIOS defaults were recently reset on an HP Pavilion Minitower. Now the system does not recognize the CDROM drive. Tried manually re-adding the CDROM drive-drive still not recognized. Any suggestions appreciated. Thank you.
