bios rom checksum error

hi guys i have a 233mzh motherboard with a award bios chip pci/pnp586 i keep getting a bios rom error on screen and then it asks for boot disk
just before this error comes up the video card logo comes up but it is very quick in displaying
i havemoved the card to a different agp slot and still has same error message
it is intermitted at momment as it comes up some times on soft boot or hard boot can anyone help
