Bits or Bytes
These days we always talk about MB or GB for speed and capacity. Can somebody tell me whether they refer to bits or bytes for the following items and so on?

memory capacity
disk space such as hard disk, zip, or USB etc
network speed such as Internet, Ethernet, wireless etc
