Black Door Trojans

How do I get rid of it?

Kid brother used my laptop and now I keep getting yellow box warning pop ups and some sort of toolbar seems to have installed itself in ie which keeps popping up, trying to make me download software. I use firefox!

I had nod32 and thought it was supposed to stop this from happening. Going back to AVG. Please help.
