Blackberry and AD Permissions messed up because of DST

by gtechstuff . Updated 19 years, 4 months ago

Recently we updated our exchange server for the daylight savings time. Since then anyone located in the adminSDHOlder container is unable to send messages through their blackberry. Microsoft has a workaround which is to change the permissions in the advance tab, applying for example the domain admins group from this object only to users groups as a fix. What I need to know is are there any issues of permissions by changing this or security holes or if I did this would I find myself unable to access anything as a network or domain admin. Can anyone give me advice as a good backdoor if we decide to change this and it blows up??? Or should I even mess with this at all
