Blackberry desktop

I have a situation where a user wants his pop3 email to be sent securely to his Blackberry. I thought there was an application that would retrieve his email from the pop3 and then encrypt and send to the Blackberry device when not attached to the desktop. There is only one user and we are not using Enterprise Server. Anyone heard of this type of software?
