Blocked a URL and Now Can’t Unblock It

When our niece was living with us, I needed to block some sites from her. One of the sites was myspace.com. Now that she’s gone I’m trying to open up the sites I blocked. Problem is I don’t remember how I blocked certain sites. One is myspace.com, I can’t get it unblocked. If I do a ping on myspce.com it points to 127.0.0.1. I know that is the local host redirect number. myspce is not in my host file which is in I386, running Windows XP home. I did locate the IP address of 216.178.38.116 in the host file and I still can’t get to myspace.
