Alright, I have this client computers who asked me to format the HDD and reinstall Windows XP Home Edition. Well, I did all that, but a few things that I noticed during the installation.
One, the installation took a lot longer that on what other computers did in the past.
Next, I noticed that the CPU fan was running at the highest level all throughout the installation process.
Then once the installation was complete, it say it will reboot in 15 seconds, which it did. Then I noticed that it took a LONG time for it load up to the system administrative console.
It’s a Compaq Presario. It previously had Windows XP Home Edition, but there were too many virus and spam that he asked me to do this.
So any ideas on how to overcome the Blue Screen of Death?
