blue startup error

i have a pavilion dv4450ea laptop, it was working fine, suddenly on one restart i got this blue screen error message on startup,

STOP 0X0000007B (0XF7BAE528,0XC0000034, 0X00000000, 0X00000000)

I recently updated my touch pad driver and although i got a system restore point created, when i hit the last known good configuration i get the same message. In fact i get it when i try to restart in safe mode too.

If it is a suspected virus any advice?
