Blue tint on Laptop Lcd screen.

I get light blue lines/distortion on my laptop lcd screen. It spreads on any application window (ex. notepad,taskbar,movies etc.)

I’ve tried the following:
1. Unistall & reinstall windows xp pro
2. Reinstall display drivers
But to no effect!
Seems like a hardware related problem. Does anyone know what exactly is d cause, & can it fixed???
