Bozteck VNCScan -vs- PC Anywhere

I’d like to open a discussion that compares the VNCScan tool to PC Anywhere. My boss loves PC Anywhere for some unexplained reason but I’m a long time user of VNCScan.

It’s clear that VNCScan can do sooooo much more than PC Anywhere but for some reason, they are still more popular. Why is this?

Both offer a securely encrypted remote control but PC Anywhere doesn’t have any other network management functions other than basic remote control and file transfer.
