BPDU’s on Cisco

can anybody help me on this issues?
i try to understand on the BPDU’s function that hae in cisco switch when set a SpanTree command, but i can’t…so anyone can help me to gime summary on what is BPDU’s and how is BPDU’s function and what is the benefit using BPDU’s…tq -qifa-
