bridging a laptop

my cous has a ADSL connection, which my laptop(travelmate 2410) connects to and i have atheros AR5005G wireless network adapter.
but the problem is i cannot browse the internet.
i tried to toubleshoot, and the connection is fine appears.
the only problem that i have been able to detect is i do not have a network bridge.
now without a lan, how am i to get the bridge or browse the net?
please help.
