Broadband Bridging/Routing

by amulcahy . Updated 18 years, 6 months ago

Hi,

the company I work for recently changed their policy so that, when I VPN in from home, I must change my router (BT Voyager 2110) to bridging. This means that I cannot connect to the web with my own PC at the same time as the company PC. This was possible previously.

So, if I want to connect to the web with my own PC, I have to go into the router settings and make the change. My questions are:
1. any way to get around this so that I can use both PC’s at the same time?
or
2. Apart from having a separate router to swap in and out does anyone know of an application I could run which would allow me to change the router config on the fly? Just a click of a button rather than going through the config.

Thanks.
