browser on Server 2003 can’t get out

I’m running SBS 2003, when I try to connect to the internet on the browser I get the error message “cannot display page”, also my antivirus cannot update; otherwise I have network connectivity, the server can see the network, the PC’s can see the server; also my offline backup service is working which initiates connection from the internet; any suggestions as to the internet connectivity problem? Thanks!
