BUsted Trust Relationship Blues.

My boss decided to change an NT PDC for Domain “b” to a BDC in DOmain A without my knowledge. The new BDC can’t log on to the PDC to synchronize user security database information because the PDC still sees the BDC as having had a trust relationship that is no longer valid and tells me to re-establish the trust. Well since the BDC is no longer in another domain, you can’t establish a trust relationship. Will changing the Name and IP address of the BDC allow the PDC to see it as a new server that has joined its domain and thus synchronize WINS and User Security Databases? Or is there some other proceedure that must be run first?
