Cable colours & positions on mainboard

by sleafordtown . Updated 23 years, 6 months ago

I was looking at my mainboard and accidentally pulled out the cables for the switch and LED connectors on the FPI Connector pins. There are 10 pins on the mainboard and I can see the general order that the cables go back on this connector but not which way the connectors fit – eg HD LED has two pins with one red cable and one white cable to go on pins 1 and 3. I put the connectors in as i thought best and I powered up my pc. The manual says the HD_LED P is pin 1 and HE_LED N is pin 3.
Now there is no light at all on the HD LED display at the front of the ATX case but the pc works fine. All the other LED lights are green at the front of the case.
Where can i find out about the cable colours and exact positioning of them?
