Cable modem dropping

I currently have AT&T cable modem hookup and I have a recurring problem of my connection dropping every hour on the hour at the same time. The problem last for approximately 10-15 minutes and then reconnects until the next hour. AT&T is telling methat it is my modem but since it is very specific timewise, I don’t believe that is the problem. Any suggestions???
