Cabling for female rj45 connectors

I feel dumb for having to ask this but this is the first time I’ve done it and want to do it right the first time. My company is remodeling a section of the building and we are installing female rj45 connectors in wall outlets. Can someone give me awire config from the switch to the outlets. I would imagine that it is just like making an extention cable but want to be sure. I am using 4 wire of the cat5 cable.
