Calculating bandwidth on a Cisco Serial interface

by cynthia.callison . Updated 18 years, 4 months ago

Hello,

Hoping someone can tell me the answer to this…

I have a bandwidth setting on my serial interface of my Cisco router – bandwidth 128.

So I am now trying to see what the current bandwidth for tx and rx are on my serial interface. Is the 255 now equal to 128 or does that figure not come into play on the interface counter and its still 1544? Or am I completely wrong?

Many thanks in advance for someone’s help.
